The YAMAHA R125 is the gateway to the world of R supersport bikes, retaining the aggressive styling, track-focused stance and R1/R6 heritage in a format suitable for the A1 licence category. The current generation introduced the engine featuring VVA (Variable Valve Actuation).
124.7cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine with electronic fuel injection and VVA, delivering 15cv at 10,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm at 8,000 rpm. Steel Deltabox frame, 41 mm KYB inverted front suspension, brakes with ABS and a quick shifter (QSS) as standard.
Kerb weight of 144 kg, 11-litre fuel tank, seat height of 820 mm. Colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity via Y-Connect.
